1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Charted RN ("we", "us"), based in Georgia, USA. By downloading or using the Charted RN app or chartedrn.com, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What Charted RN is

Charted RN is a study tool for people preparing for the NCLEX-RN® and NCLEX-PN® exams. It gives you a study plan, practice questions with rationales, and general information about the steps to test day.

• Not official. NCLEX®, NCLEX-RN® and NCLEX-PN® are registered trademarks of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. (NCSBN). Charted RN is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NCSBN, Pearson VUE or any board of nursing. Our questions are original practice items, not real exam questions.
• No guarantee. We work hard to make the content accurate and useful, but we don't guarantee that you'll pass or that every question or rationale is free of errors. Use the "Report" button if you spot a mistake.
• Not medical advice. The content is for exam preparation only. Don't use it to make decisions about real patient care. Follow your institution's policies and current clinical guidance.
• Check official sources. Licensing steps, fees and ATT validity vary by board and change over time. Confirm them with your board of nursing and Pearson VUE. Dates you enter, such as your test date and ATT expiry, are your responsibility.

3. Subscriptions and free trial

• Charted RN Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered for 1 month or 3 months. The price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.
• Free trial: eligible new subscribers get a 3-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged at the end of the trial.
• Renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same length at the then-current price, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within the 24 hours before each renewal.
• Cancelling: go to iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Charted RN, or tap "Manage subscription" in the app's Profile tab. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Billing and refunds: payment is charged to your Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes: if we change the price, Apple will notify you as its rules require, and the new price applies only from your next renewal.

4. Using the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Charted RN on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple's Usage Rules. You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, publish, sell or share the questions, rationales or other content;
• use the content to build a competing product or to train AI models;
• reverse engineer the app or interfere with how it works;
• send abusive or unlawful content in error reports.

5. Our content

The app, its questions, rationales, design and the Charted RN name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the app.

6. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Apple isn't responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims. You confirm that you aren't in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and aren't on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where these terms don't cover something.

7. Disclaimers

Except as required by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including exam results, lost earnings or licensing delays. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Charted RN in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Sections 5, 7, 8 and 10 continue to apply after these terms end.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections given to you by the laws of the country where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
